Maybe you don’t want have a boat, particularly for some of the newer sports requiring big wakes - we’ve got that covered with our brand new Malibu VLX with Surf Gate and extendable boom! So you can just relax on the beach and let us do our thing. We also do allow passengers for most sports so you can watch your child learn. If desired, we can even record the memories for you by Go Pro mounted at cool angles so they’re captured forever. See our “”Photos” page to some happy faces from past customers!
We are able to provide most of not all equipment needed and we even have special equipment for young children like a tower boom so our instructors can talk to the child as they ski right beside the boat! We do specialize in teaching first-timers but we’re also happy to teach groups, adults or groups of adults!

Welcome to Manitou Ski School! Who the heck are we? We’re the newest & the only local ski school on Manitouwabing. Our extended families have a long history in cottage country and action sports. Our Mom, Jen’s family started Summer Water Sports in Muskoka in the 70‘s and currently run Wakestock and SBC Magazines including Wakeboard, Windsport, Surf, Kiteboard Magazines & others. So we come by this honestly!
We wanted to continue that family tradition and bring it to Manitouwabing!
We are a family from Burlington ON in the off-season but all summer we are at our cottage on Lake Manitouwabing, which is also the intergalactic headquarters for Manitou Ski School.
We’ve been teaching people to ski for years & have even developed a 4-Step Process guaranteed to get any kid up on skis. That’s why we say “we get ‘em up!” Now we’re making it official & helping all-comers on Lake Manitouwabing. Maybe where your staying at doesn’t have any “water-pleasures” for you and your family to participate in and you want your child to have the experiences of learning to ski - just call us!
